A hospital's website plays an important role in connecting patients, caregivers, healthcare professionals and other stakeholders with essential healthcare information.
The NCG Website Development Initiative aims to support hospitals within the National Cancer Grid (NCG) in establishing a modern, informative and user-friendly digital presence through standardised website templates and structured content guidance.
The initiative provides hospitals with a common framework for website development while allowing them to retain their individual institutional identity and showcase their services, facilities, clinical expertise and patient information.
Through the NCG Website Toolkit, participating centres can explore templates suited to different hospital sizes and requirements. The toolkit provides a starting point for hospitals to plan their websites, organise institutional content and work with their website development vendors.
The initiative aims to make website development more structured and manageable, enabling hospitals to focus on delivering accurate, relevant and accessible information to their audiences.
The initiative is intended for hospitals within the National Cancer Grid that are looking to develop a new website or revamp an existing one.
NCG centres can explore the available templates, review the implementation process and submit an Expression of Interest through the primary NCG initiative webpage.
