We are delighted to announce the launch of the AI Cancer and Technology Challenge (CATCH) Grant, a first-of-its-kind initiative by NCG–KCDO, supported by MeitY under the IndiaAI Mission. The grant was formally launched at the NCG Annual Meeting on August 2, 2025.
This landmark program is designed to bridge clinical expertise with AI innovation, accelerating the development and deployment of responsible AI solutions across the cancer care continuum in India.
The grant is open to hospitals, digital health startups, academic institutions, and researchers working on AI-driven solutions in oncology.
The initiative seeks AI solutions that can be piloted and scaled across NCG hospitals, addressing some of the most pressing challenges in cancer care, including:
Early detection and diagnostics
Clinical decision support systems
Patient engagement and symptom monitoring
Optimizing clinical trials and research
Enhancing hospital operations and efficiency
AI-ready data curation and structuring
Selected projects will receive funding support of up to ₹50 lakhs per project.
