Driving AI Innovation in Cancer Care - CATCH Grant

The IndiaAI–NCG Cancer AI & Technology Challenge (CATCH) is a first-of-its-kind initiative by MeitY under the IndiaAI Mission and the National Cancer Grid (NCG) to fund, validate, and scale AI solutions that can transform cancer care in India.

Held on 21st August 2025 (3:00 – 5:00 PM, Online), the webinar brought together clinicians, AI innovators, policymakers, and health-tech experts to discuss how AI can be responsibly and effectively deployed in oncology.

Highlights of the session included:

• Keynote: Vision for responsible & impactful AI in public health
• Talk: Building for Bharat – why clinical - grade AI must start local
• Panel Discussion: From concept to clinic - deploying AI in cancer care
• Grant Walkthrough: Application process, TRL levels, and evaluation criteria
• Live Q&A: Addressing 65+ questions from participants

The session received an overwhelming response with 402 registrations, nearly 295 participants, and vibrant engagement through questions and discussions.
