Call for Research Proposals for deploying Oncology Specific Telemedicine Platform for State-Level Healthcare

The National Cancer Grid is inviting proposals for a proof of concept (PoC) of an oncology specific telemedicine solution aimed at improving access to cancer care in the north eastern states of India.

We are looking for a development partner with the following requirements:

Organization Profile

  • Registered legal entity in India, compliant with Ministry of Company Affairs (MCA), Government of India (GoI) norms
  • Compliant with Government of India, Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023
  • Develops and delivers digital healthcare technology products and services

Team Profile

  • Expertise in developing and safely deploying technologies for telemedicine
  • Experience on the field in the north eastern states of India
  • Experience working in a hub and spoke model

Product and Services Profile

  • User-friendly ABDM compliant teleconsultation platform equipped with electronic data capture, video conferencing, secure messaging, and image sharing functionalities
  • Cloud based storage infrastructure requirements compliant with Government of India (GoI), National Digital Health Mission (NDHM) standards
  • Existing collaboration with the State government to enable district hospitals to serve as the spokes that can be connected to the hub at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai
  • Availability of a doctor at each spoke hospital to refer/triage patients when required
  • Minimal infrastructure requirements with cost-effective and easily available equipment

Submission Guidelines

Interested organizations should submit their proposals via email to ncg@tmc.gov.in with cc to ncgkcdo@tmc.gov.in by 31st May 2024.

Proposals should include a detailed description of the product or service, evidence of effectiveness, pricing information, and contact details in the prescribed format.

The proposals will undergo a peer-review after submission and the results will be communicated to the selected organization through mail by 10th June 2024.
